Chandrababu To Meet PM Narendra Modi

Finally, after one long year, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu managed to get the appointment of PM Narendra Modi. Chandrababu Naidu and Narendra Modi will be meeting on January 12th in New Delhi. The same has been officially confirmed by PMO (Prime Minister’s Office).
In this meet, various issues like the implementation of various schemes as stated in the bifurcation treaty, Polavaram Project, and constitutional amendments to include Kapu Reservation will be a part of the discussion. Though AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has been trying since the past one year for the PM’s appointment, the PMO did not respond. Given the sudden change in the political sphere, with Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena into full swing, and YS Jagan’s strategies during his Padayatra, Modi believed that a meeting with the AP CM is essential.
Factually speaking, the upcoming meet is more important to Modi and BJP as it is to Chandrababu Naidu. Another key reason for the meet to take place is the on-going rift between BJP and TDP at the state level. With only one year for the assembly and parliament elections, the upcoming meeting will be very crucial. After BJP carried out an underground survey in AP, they realized that TDP is likely to form the government. And hence one need not be surprised if Modi once again comes with the ‘alliance’ offer between BJP and TDP in AP. No wonder, the PM has given the appointment to Chandrababu amid all the aforementioned things.
