Hearing on Chandrababu’s Petition Postponed to September 19:

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has postponed the hearing of Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s quash petition to September 19. Additionally, the court has directed the ACB court not to address the custody petition until September 18. It’s worth noting that the CID had previously submitted a petition to the ACB court seeking custody of Naidu, and the High Court has delayed the custody petition’s hearing until September 18.

This development has come as a surprise to a group of 20 prominent lawyers, including Delhi-based Sidharth Luthra, who were present at the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Reportedly, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is actively communicating with various top legal teams in Delhi with the aim of securing bail for Chandrababu Naidu.

Naidu was arrested by the CID in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, and subsequently moved the High Court on Tuesday to quash the FIR filed against him in the skill development scam case, which had led to his judicial custody as ordered by the special court for ACB cases.
