Chandrababu’s Strategy To Bring Kotla Family in TDP

After YSRCP declared pulled itself from the upcoming Kurnool by-elections, the Telugu Desam Party announced its candidate. Shockingly, Chandrababu Naidu finalized Mr KE Prabhakar candidature for the MLC elections. The move from Chandrababu not only shocked other parties but also shocked many senior leaders from TDP.
KE Prabhakar, brother of Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy alleged Chandrababu Naidu on many occasion. The fielding of KE Prabhakar is seen as a strategical move to invite Kotla family into TDP.
The Kotla family has a great reputation in Kurnool. They are known to be highly influential. There has been an on-going rivalry between the Kotla and KE family for a very long time. Both TDP and YSRCP wanted to pull Kotla family towards their respective parties. TDP feels that Kotla family is inkling towards them, given their experience with YS Jagan.
The recent move from Chandrababu to filed KE Prabhakar as MLC candidate is also seen as a move to welcome Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy into TDP. Inside sources said that Chandrababu fielded KE Prabhakar Reddy only after taking a promise that the KE Brothers wouldn’t have any objection for Kotla to enter TDP.
Party sources have confirmed that it’s a matter of time before Chandrababu officially announces Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy as the contestant for the Kurnool Lok Sabha seat.
