In the Bilaspur region of Chhattisgarh, a private bus transporting passengers toppled on Friday, resulting in the death of one passenger and at least 34 injuries, according to the police.
The bus driver lost control of the vehicle near Kenda Banjari ghat beneath Belgahna police chowki at about six in the morning while traveling from Prayagraj to Durg, according to a local police officer.
According to the official, one passenger died instantly when the vehicle overturned. He added that at least 34 additional people were hurt.
He claimed that a police squad arrived to the scene shortly after being notified and immediately began a rescue operation. He stated that the injured have been sent to nearby hospitals and that more information is being collected.
