Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly preparing to expand his presence in the entertainment industry by venturing further into the film exhibition business. After joining hands with Asian Cinemas for a major multiplex project in Hyderabad, the actor is now said to be planning another cinema venture in Visakhapatnam.
The latest update about the proposed multiplex emerged during the pre-release event of Garividi Lakshmi. Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao reportedly revealed that Chiranjeevi is interested in establishing a new multiscreen theatre in Vizag.
According to the minister, the development came to light during a recent meeting with the Megastar. Ganta Srinivasa Rao shares a close rapport with Chiranjeevi and reportedly learned about the proposed project during their interaction.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s collaboration with Asian Cinemas has already attracted attention in Hyderabad. The partnership is associated with a major multiplex project planned for the city’s Financial District, which is expected to feature an exceptionally large cinema screen.
If the Vizag project moves forward, it could further expand the city’s cinema infrastructure and provide moviegoers with another modern entertainment destination. However, details regarding the proposed multiplex, including its location, number of screens, investment and construction timeline, have not yet been officially announced.
For now, the reported plan has generated interest among fans and cinema enthusiasts, who will be waiting for further updates from Chiranjeevi or his associates.
