That is the very same reason, Ashwini Dutt who is bankrolling the movie ‘Mahanati’ is releasing it tomorrow, i.e., May 9th, 2018. It is on May 9th, 1990, ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Savithri released and went on to become a cult classic. Ashwini Dutt produced that movie too.
Along the same lines, even Megastar Chiranjeevi who is busy shooting for ‘Sye Raa… Narasimha Reddy’ is planning to release the move on May 9th, 2019. What’s more interesting is, another blockbuster in Chiranjeevi’s career, ‘Gang leader’ too released on May 9th, 1991.
To make sure that the film is released on May 9th, 2019, director Surender Reddy has increased the shooting pace, and the CG works are also likely to begin in a very short time. Thanks to the sentiment, the Mega fans are already celebrating knowing ‘Sye Raa…’ release date.
