After delivering the successful film Waltair Veerayya, Megastar Chiranjeevi is now occupied with his upcoming project, Bholaa Shankar Directed by well-known action director Meher Ramesh, Bholaa Shankar is an official remake of Tamil actor Ajith’s film Vedalam and is set to be an action drama movie.
Special posters of Chiru as a cab driver in the backdrop of Kolkata were recently released by the makers on the occasion of May Day, and have since gone viral on social media.
Chiranjeevi shooting in Kolkata
The makers of Bholaa Shankar have already confirmed that the movie will be set in Kolkata. The production house has announced that the official shooting schedule of Bholaa Shankar in Kolkata has begun today, tagging Chiru and using the caption “The Swag of Mega from the streets of Yamahanagari and the sets of Bholaa Shankar.”
Kolkata is not new to Chiranjeevi as he has previously filmed Choodalani Vundi in the city. Anil Sunkara is producing Bholaa Shankar under AK Entertainment, with Tamannaah starring as the lead actress opposite Chiranjeevi. Keerthy Suresh plays Chiranjeevi’s sister, while Sushanth plays her love interest. Prominent roles in the film are also played by Vennela Kishore, Arjun Das, Rashmi Gautam, and Tulasi.
