In 2006, director AR Murugadoss teamed up with Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi for the action-drama Stalin. Though the film had an average run at the box office back then, it has since earned cult status among fans. Now, nearly two decades later, Stalin is making a grand comeback to theatres in 4K with enhanced sound and visuals.
The re-release is set for a special occasion — Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22, 2025. Adding to the celebrations, audiences watching Stalin in theatres will also get to witness Global Star Ram Charan’s Peddi glimpse on the big screen.
But the surprises don’t stop there. Mega fans are in for a triple treat — along with Stalin, they’ll also enjoy Pawan Kalyan’s “Fire Storm” song from They Call Him OG and an exclusive glimpse of Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
Originally produced by Naga Babu, Stalin stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, with Prakash Raj in a menacing antagonist role and music composed by Manisharma. This re-release promises not just nostalgia, but a festival-like celebration for Mega fans.
