At the grand glimpse launch of Mana Shankaravara Prasad Garu, director Anil Ravipudi surprised fans by revealing a key detail about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-talked-about look in the film. Contrary to assumptions of digital enhancements, the director confirmed that Chiru’s stunning on-screen transformation was achieved naturally, without relying on graphics or heavy VFX.
Speaking at the event, Ravipudi said, “This is just a sample. There are many more looks in the movie, and the full credit goes to Chiranjeevi sir for how he appears on screen.”
He further emphasized that what audiences witnessed in the glimpse is authentic: “We didn’t use after-effects or digital touch-ups. Chiru’s look is 90 to 95 percent original.”
The director also shed light on the hard work behind the transformation. “Chiranjeevi garu lost a lot of weight through a strict fitness regime, training both mornings and evenings. That’s why he now looks as young as 45–50,” Ravipudi revealed, sparking loud cheers from fans.
