Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram, who recently appeared in the hit film Ponniyin Selvan 2, is set to star in the upcoming period film Thangalaan. The film, which is based on true events that took place at the Kolar Gold Factory in Karnataka, features Vikram in a rustic and intriguing appearance.

However, during rehearsals for Thangalaan, the star actor Chiyaan Vikram sustained a bad injury resulting in a broken rib. Unfortunately, this injury has forced Vikram to take time off from filming until he has fully recovered. Despite this setback, the actor expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported him and has reassured his fans that he will be back to normal soon.

Thangalaan is written and directed by Pa Ranjith and also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi, Harikrishnan Anbudurai, and others in significant roles. The film is being produced by K E Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green and Neelam Productions, with music composed by G V Prakash Kumar. While Vikram’s absence may delay the production, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of this highly anticipated film.
