Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit, starring pan-India superstar Prabhas, continues to create buzz among movie buffs. Marking the first-ever collaboration between the Arjun Reddy and Animal director and the Salaar star, the film has been in pre-production for several months.
Although fans have been waiting for an official update on the shooting schedule, the latest confirmation has finally arrived. Pranay Vanga, the producer of Spirit and brother of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, revealed during a recent public appearance that the film will go on floors in September 2025.
While details regarding the supporting cast and crew are still under wraps, the announcement has rekindled excitement among fans eager to witness what cinematic magic the Vanga-Prabhas duo will bring to the screen.
With Sandeep’s signature intense storytelling style and Prabhas’ massive screen presence, Spirit is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited Telugu films in production.
SJ Suryah, the multi-talented star of Tamil cinema, is officially returning to direction after a decade-long gap. The director-turned-actor, best known for helming iconic hits like Kushi (with Vijay and Pawan Kalyan) and Vaali (with Ajith), is now set to direct and act in a new film titled Killer.
This marks SJ Suryah’s first directorial venture since Isai (2015). Over the past few years, he has successfully transitioned into acting, delivering memorable performances in high-budget blockbusters alongside leading stars and directors. Now, he’s ready to return to the director’s chair with a pan-India thriller.
Killer will be released in multiple Indian languages, targeting a wide audience across regions. SJ Suryah will also be seen in the lead role, making the project even more exciting for fans.
The film is being jointly produced by senior Kollywood producer Gokulam Gopalan under the Gokulam Movies banner, in association with SJ Suryah’s Angel Studios. The movie will feature Telugu actress Preeti Asrani in a prominent role.
More details regarding the cast, crew, and technical team are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The buzz around War 2 is only getting bigger, especially in the Telugu states. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this high-octane pan-India spy thriller stars Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., with Kiara Advani playing the female lead.
According to strong industry chatter, popular Tollywood producer Naga Vamsi has reportedly sealed the deal for the film’s Telugu theatrical rights for a massive ₹90 crore. If confirmed, this would rank among the biggest-ever rights deals for a non-Telugu film in the region, and it further cements NTR’s pan-India pull and stardom.
War 2, produced by Aditya Chopra under the prestigious Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner, is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. The film is part of YRF’s expanding spy universe, which already includes hits like Pathaan and Tiger 3.
The movie is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on August 14, 2025, as an Independence Day special, and will see a high-voltage box office clash with Rajinikanth’s Coolie in Tamil Nadu and beyond.

That single statement has sent fans into a frenzy, with social media buzzing about the actor’s emotional and appreciative response.
Also seen at the private trailer preview were Trivikram, A. M. Ratnam, and other core team members, all sharing smiles and visibly thrilled by the final output.
Produced by A. Dayakar Rao, HHVM also stars Bobby Deol, Nassar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Pujita Ponnada. With a powerful score by M. M. Keeravaani, the film is all set to hit theaters on July 24, 2025, promising grand visuals and intense storytelling.
Following the lukewarm response to Game Changer, global star Ram Charan is swiftly moving forward with his next venture, Peddi. Helmed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, this film marks Ram Charan’s first on-screen collaboration with Janhvi Kapoor, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.
After wrapping several key schedules, the team is now prepping for an important leg of shooting. According to inside reports, the cast and crew of Peddi will fly to Delhi in the second week of July to film pivotal sequences featuring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Additionally, a romantic song sequence is also slated to be shot during this schedule.
An official update regarding the Delhi shoot is expected to be released soon.
Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi features a stellar supporting cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma. Adding to the grandeur is the musical brilliance of Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, who is scoring the soundtrack for the film.
The makers are eyeing a grand theatrical release on March 27, 2025, perfectly timed with Ram Charan’s birthday, making it a highly anticipated summer release for fans and cinephiles.
