Cisco Webex launches a new tool called ‘Vidcast.’
Cisco Webex, a leading enterprise video conferencing solution, has introduced a new feature called meeting summaries. This feature aims to provide users with an overview of the key points discussed during a Webex meeting. According to a blog post by Cisco, the meeting summaries feature automatically generates critical elements of a meeting, extracts key points, and captures action items along with their owners. This functionality is designed to save time for attendees who couldn’t join the meeting, as it eliminates the need to listen to recordings or read through transcripts.
In addition to meeting summaries, Cisco Webex is also bringing summarization capabilities to its video messaging tool called ‘Vidcast.’ The tool will allow users to generate automatically generated video highlights in the form of short clips, making asynchronous communication more effective. The introduction of chapters will enable viewers to quickly navigate to the most important parts of the video.
Furthermore, Cisco Webex has introduced Conversation Summaries, a feature that leverages artificial intelligence to create a real-time knowledge base of customer interactions. This feature can automatically generate chat and call summaries, enabling agents to access a comprehensive overview of customer conversations.
