Combined Graduation Parade to be held on June 17

On June 17, a combined graduation parade will take place.

The Indian Air Force will hold the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) for the 211th Course at the Air Force Academy Dundigal on June 17. This event celebrates the successful completion of pre-commissioning training for flight cadets from various branches of the Indian Air Force.

The Ministry of Defence has announced that President Droupadi Murmu will be the Chief Guest and Reviewing Officer for the parade. The ceremony will include an aerobatic display by various aircraft, such as the Pilatus PC-7 trainer, Su-30, and the helicopter display team ‘Sarang’ and the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team.

During Combined Graduation parade, the flight cadets will have their ranks unveiled, signifying the award of the President’s Commission. The Reviewing Officer will also present ‘Wings’ and ‘Brevets’ to officers from the Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, and cadets from friendly foreign countries who have received training from the Indian Air Force.

The Flight Cadet who achieves the highest position in the Order of Merit in the Flying Branch will be honored with the ‘Sword of Honour’ and the President’s Plaque. Additionally, the Flight Cadet with the highest overall ranking in the ground duty branches will receive the President’s Plaque.
