It’s official! Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has joined hands with Allu Arjun and acclaimed director Atlee for their highly anticipated pan-India project, tentatively titled AA22xA6. This announcement comes after weeks of speculation, and it has significantly ramped up excitement around the film.
Deepika, who earlier made a powerful cameo in Atlee’s Jawan (2023), is reuniting with the director, but this time in a full-fledged leading role opposite Allu Arjun. This film marks her first collaboration with Allu Arjun and her second venture in Telugu cinema, after her role in the Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD.
Initially, Deepika was set to appear in the upcoming film Spirit with Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, she stepped away from the project, paving the way for her involvement in this massive entertainer produced by Sun Pictures.
Currently in the pre-production stage, AA22xA6 promises to be a large-scale action drama loaded with emotion, entertainment, and Atlee’s trademark mass appeal. With Deepika’s star power, Allu Arjun’s pan-India craze, and Atlee’s direction, the film is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.
