A police constable named Gopi, currently stationed at Mirchowk Police Headquarters, has been accused of raping a minor girl under the pretext of marriage in Habeebnagar. The victim and the accused were acquaintances from the same neighborhood, and their relationship evolved after they met at a function a few months ago.
Despite Gopi’s initial promise of marriage, he later refused and began avoiding the victim. Following a complaint from the girl’s parents, the Habeebnagar police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
