Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, created massive buzz even before release, marking the duo’s first-ever collaboration. The film’s star-studded lineup, featuring Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Sathyara, added to the hype.
Released on August 14, 2025, clashing with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2, the movie opened to mixed reviews but still managed to grab attention.
After completing 25 days in theatres, Coolie has now made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video, where it is available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Hindi version will arrive later, following the 8-week theatrical-to-OTT window.
The ensemble cast also includes Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Kanna Ravi, Maaran, Pooja Hegde (special appearance in the Monica song), and Reba Monica John. Backed by Sun Pictures, the big-budget entertainer features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Now, all eyes are on how Coolie performs on OTT after its theatrical run.
