Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest action thriller, Coolie, has taken the box office by storm. Released on August 14 as an Independence Day treat, the film features an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna from Tollywood, Aamir Khan from Bollywood, Soubin Shahir from Mollywood, and Upendra from Sandalwood. The film also showcases stellar performances by Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Reba Monica, and Sathyaraj, while Pooja Hegde impresses in the song “Monica.”
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie has been praised for its high-octane action sequences, engaging performances, and Anirudh Ravichander’s electrifying music and background score. Trade analysts report that the movie has grossed over Rs. 500 crores worldwide. Following its successful theatrical run, Coolie is now ready to make its mark on OTT. Amazon Prime Video has officially acquired the digital streaming rights and announced that the film will be available from September 11. Viewers can watch the movie in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. No confirmation has been provided yet regarding the Hindi version, which may premiere on a different platform. Produced by Sun Pictures on a massive budget, Coolie continues to captivate audiences with its action-packed storytelling and ensemble star power.
