After two months of lockdown, it is pretty clear that coronavirus pandemic can’t be faced without massive testing to find out who have contracted COVID-19. If some leading nations have managed to keep their Corona cases and deaths tolls low, it is all because of high testing rate.
While the low testing rate in several states is one of biggest challenges India is facing during this pandemic time, Andhra has set an example by testing a record 3+ lakh people till date. According to state health secretary Jawahar Reddy, Andhra Pradesh has achieved a milestone by conducting 3,04,326 COVID-19 tests and took top position when it comes to testing.
