CPI leader Kunamaneni Sambasiva Rao staged an indefinite hunger strike on Saturday at Makdoom Bhavan in Himayatnagar in support of the ongoing TSRTC strike. Speaking on the occasion, the party senior leader Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has hatched a plan to steal the assets of TSRTC. “RTC is not a trade organisation, it is a public transport corporation, said Sudhakar Reddy. He also said that the government’s move of sacking the employees is not the right thing. “Until the government accepts the demands of RTC, the strike will be continued,” Reddy said.
