Mystery in Chitradurga Karnataka

Karnataka: A shocking discovery in Chitradurga has left everyone stunned: the skeletons of five family members were found locked inside their own house. No one had seen Jagannath Reddy (retired engineer), his wife Prema, and their three children (Triveni, Krishna, and Narendra) since 2019. They kept to themselves, battling health problems, making their house a quiet fortress of secrets.

A local reporter, tipped by a neighbor, led the police to the grim truth. The house showed signs of forced entry and robbery. Inside, a chilling scene unfolded: four skeletons, two on beds and two on the floor, in a room untouched by time. Another skeleton lay in another room, adding to the eerie silence.

Experts were called to gather evidence, the sealed house a stark reminder of the tragedy that had happened within its walls. The cause of death remains a puzzle. Did they die from their illnesses, alone in their secluded world? Or was something more sinister at play?

The police are cautious, refusing to jump to conclusions. “We don’t know yet how they died,” said a senior officer. “It could be suicide or something else. We’re just starting the investigation. Only after forensics and autopsies will we know the truth.”

Karnataka State Home Minister G Parameshwara assured everyone that the investigation is ongoing. “Samples are being tested, and we’re learning more about the family and the house,” he said. “Whether it was suicide or something else, the forensic report will tell. Until then, we can only guess.”

The Reddy family’s story is a sad reminder of how fragile life is and how secrets can hide in plain sight, even in our own homes. As the investigation continues, everyone hopes for justice and for the truth, however painful, to finally set their spirits free.
