Cyberabad Police Busts Fraudulent ‘Data Entry Job Scam; Four Arrested

Date:

Four individuals from Gujarat were apprehended by the Cyberabad police for duping individuals under the guise of offering ‘Data Entry Jobs’ and collecting money. The police confiscated six mobile phones, a laptop, and five debit cards from the accused, identified as Rahul Ashok Bhai Baviskar (25), Sagar Patil (24), Kalpesh Thorat (26), and Nilesh Patil (24).

The gang operated by creating a fake company called ‘Flora Solution’ and lured job seekers with promises of home-based data entry positions. The victims were then subjected to fraudulent practices, including rejection of completed assignments and extortion through fake legal notices, resulting in substantial financial losses for the victims. The cybercrime police have taken action against the culprits, who had carried out similar scams across the country.
