Day 2 of Ganesh Nimajjanam Sees Traffic Jams Across the City:
The Ganesh idol immersion festivities continued into the second day, causing significant traffic disruptions across the city. The processions, which began on Thursday morning, extended into Friday, affecting the daily commute of school and office-goers.
Despite the police’s efforts to manage the traffic and ensure public safety, congestion persisted in various parts, including Mozamjahe Market, Nampally, Abids, Narayanguda, Basheerbagh, Khairatabad, and Liberty.
Given the challenging traffic conditions, authorities issued a traffic advisory, urging people to avoid the routes of the immersion processions to minimize inconvenience.
The immersion of Vinayaka idols is a significant cultural event, but it can lead to Traffic jams and disruptions in daily life, as witnessed during these celebrations.
