A TSRTC driver died of a heart attack after being depressed over losing his job. Sheik Khaleel Mia (48), a resident of Ramachandrapuram of Sangareddy district was working at HCU depot.
He participated in the strike and was scared after the government announced its decision of sacking employees. The Telangana Jathiya Mazdoor Union (TJMU) demanded justice to Khaleel’s family.

Meanwhile, the TSRTC strike entered the sixth day demanding the organisation merger with the government. On Wednesday, JAC convenor Ashwathama Reddy said that they are ready to call for state bandh on October 19 if the government do not come down.
