Dhanush Reveals His Sisters Had a Crush on Nagarjuna: “You Were a Dream to Work With”
Nagarjuna, often hailed as one of the few ageless icons of Indian cinema, continues to charm fans and fellow actors alike with his timeless style and screen presence. And it seems even celebrities aren’t immune to his appeal.
At the Kuberaa trailer event, Dhanush, who stars alongside Nagarjuna in the upcoming socio-political thriller, shared a heartwarming moment on stage. “My sisters had a huge crush on you while growing up,” he said with a grin. “It was a dream come true to finally work with you. You were wonderful to work with.”
The crowd responded with loud cheers and applause as the trailer played, showcasing a gripping blend of emotion, action, and powerhouse performances. Nagarjuna’s intense portrayal was a standout, with many praising his commanding presence.
DSP’s Special Tribute: “KING” Song
Music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) also had high praise for Nagarjuna during the event. He revealed that he felt truly fortunate to compose a special track titled “KING,” inspired by Nagarjuna’s role in the film.
“No one else could have pulled off this role the way Nagarjuna Garu did,” said DSP. “The way he commands the screen is magical.”
Kuberaa Gears Up for Release
With the film’s release just days away, the trailer launch has significantly boosted anticipation. Starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh, and directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa is slated for a June 20, 2025, theatrical release.
