Dhanush’s Kuberaa Gets U/A Certificate with 181-Minute Runtime Ahead of Release

Date:

Kuberaa, the much-anticipated socio-political drama headlined by Dhanush, is all set for its theatrical release this Friday. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film brings together a powerful ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles, making it a true pan-Indian cinematic experience.

Ahead of its release, Kuberaa has completed its censor formalities and has been granted a U/A certificate. The film has a confirmed runtime of 181 minutes (3 hours and 1 minute)—a notably long duration for a mainstream release, indicating a layered narrative rich in political and emotional depth.

With early buzz surrounding the film’s teaser, trailers, and music, Kuberaa has generated considerable interest among moviegoers. Bookings are reportedly strong, especially in Telugu and Tamil belts, and are showing promising signs in the Hindi circuit as well.

Apart from its lead trio, the film also features Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, and Sayaji Shinde in important roles. The movie is jointly produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), whose soundtrack has already begun trending on social media.

With Sekhar Kammula known for delivering both substance and emotional resonance in his films, all eyes are now on how Kuberaa will perform at the box office, especially given its lengthy runtime and high expectations.
