If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry is to be believed, KGF helmerPrashanth Neel has approached Disha Patani to play the lead opposite Young Rebel Star Prabhas in his upcoming action drama ‘Salaar’.
Set to go on floors in the month of January 2021, the report further adds that the makers of the film plan to wrap up the entire shooting in May, and they want to release the film on the occasion of Dussehra this year.
However, they are yet to reveal the release date of the film Salaar. The sources close to Prashanth Neel revealed that Loafer girl has not signed the dotted line. Reportedly, Disha Patani is demanding a fatty pay cheque to share the screen space with Prabhas in Salaar which has left makers to have second thoughts.
Disha Patani had earlier featured in Telugu film Loafer opposite Varun Tej, which was helmed by Temper and iSmart Shankar fame Puri Jagannadh.
Disha Patani was also rumored to be approached for Prabhas starrer action drama Saaho. The reports also stated that when the makers approached MS Dhoni fame actress for the film, she was rude to them. Hence, the makers dropped her name.
