Doctors’ pan-India strike :Mamata Banerjee arrives for meeting with doctors

The Indian Doctors Association has taken up a 24-hour bandh today to protest attacks on doctors. It has announced that it will cease medical services for 24 hours. Emergency treatments will continue. General medical services will be disturbed.
Doctors across the country are protesting against the attack on doctors at a hospital in Kolkata.

The movement of doctors demanding protection for them has provoked fury. The IMA has decided to continue the 24-hour bandh.
The IMA is demanding severe punishment to those who attacked doctors. On the other hand, the state’s chief minister Mamata Banerjee was summoned to discuss the concerns of doctors in Bengal. They are demanding the media presence for the meeting.
