The Enforcement Directorate (ED) initiated provisional attachment orders on the assets of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and her spouse Ripu Sudan Kundra, also known as Raj Kundra, on Thursday.
Valued at approximately Rs 97.79 crore, the properties, both movable and immovable, are subject to action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2022, as confirmed by the ED.
Included in the attachment are a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu area under Shilpa Shetty’s name, along with a lavish bungalow in Pune and equity shares owned by Kundra, although specific valuation details remain undisclosed by the ED.
