Telugu romantic comedy Epic, featuring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, has made its digital debut on Netflix. The film is now available to stream in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi — giving it an opportunity to connect with audiences across different regions.
The movie brings together the popular lead pair from Baby, reuniting Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya on screen. Directed by debutant Aditya Hasan, the romantic entertainer was produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.
Despite generating interest before its theatrical release, Epic failed to achieve the expected success at the box office. The makers are now looking to its multilingual OTT release to attract more viewers and give the film a fresh opportunity to reach audiences who may have missed it in theatres.
The film also features Vasuki, Sivaji, Kalyan Shankar and Gavireddy Srinivas in supporting roles. The music has been composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who contributes to the film’s overall romantic atmosphere.
With its arrival on Netflix, Epic is now accessible to viewers in multiple languages. It remains to be seen whether the film can gain renewed attention and find a wider audience through its digital release.
