The much-awaited Telugu romantic comedy Epic, inspired by the popular Telugu web series #90’s, is gearing up for its theatrical release next week. Directed by Aditya Haasan, the film stars Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead roles.
Epic Gets Paid Premieres on September 10
The makers have now officially confirmed that Epic will have paid premieres across the Telugu states on the evening of September 10. The film will then have its grand theatrical release on September 11.
Opting for paid premieres ahead of the regular release indicates the confidence the team has in the film. Early screenings will also give audiences an opportunity to experience the movie before its official release, potentially helping generate positive word of mouth.
Popular Faces in Key Roles
Apart from Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, the film features Shivaji and Vasuki in important roles. With a blend of romance, comedy and family-oriented entertainment, Epic is expected to appeal to a wide range of Telugu audiences.
The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
