Everyone is aware of the recent movie “Guntur Kaaram,” starring Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu and young heroine Srila. Following this film, Mahesh Babu has shifted his focus to the global director SS Rajamouli’s project (Rajamouli SSMB 29), leading fans to believe that there won’t be any new releases from Mahesh for several years. Consequently, it appears there won’t be any more re-releases either.
As a special gift for Mahesh Babu’s birthday, his classic career hit “Murari” has been chosen for re-release. Director Krishnavamshi provided an interesting update regarding this re-release. The original movie had a runtime of 182 minutes, over three hours. However, Krishnavamshi confirmed that the re-release will be a shortened version, trimmed by 18 minutes to a total of 164 minutes. We’ll have to wait and see which scenes have been cut.
