The court ordered Imran Khan to remain in custody until September 13
A special court has decided to extend the judicial remand of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan until September 13. This extension pertains to a case involving the alleged disclosure of state secrets.
Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain, who conducted the hearing at Attock jail in Punjab, issued this decision. The case revolves around a missing cipher, which is a classified state document that Khan displayed during a political rally before his removal from office last year.
This hearing was held at the Attock District Jail, with approval from the Law Ministry, in response to security concerns raised by the Interior Ministry. Imran Khan has been detained at this jail since August 5 after his conviction in the Toshakhana corruption case.
