Directed by the acclaimed duo Raj and DK, the first season of Farzi became a massive success on Amazon Prime Video, earning praise from critics and viewers alike.
After ending on a thrilling cliffhanger involving Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the team has locked in the Farzi 2 release date for the second half of 2026. The shooting is expected to kick off in December 2025 once Raj and DK wrap up their ongoing project, Rakht Brahmand.
Pre-production for Farzi 2 will begin soon, with the creators holding multiple script meetings to ensure the sequel lives up to the high expectations. Along with Shahid, the show will also feature Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Kavya Thapar in important roles.
