It has been quite a wait since Jr NTR’s Devara stormed theatres and thrilled audiences. Surprisingly, even after nearly a year and a half, the film’s Telugu satellite premiere remained elusive, testing fans’ patience. Now, the tide appears to be turning.
As per the latest buzz in industry circles, the Telugu satellite rights are expected to be snapped up by ETV. If things fall into place, Devara should finally make its television debut soon, bringing relief to viewers who have been waiting far too long. Interestingly, while the Hindi version aired quite some time ago, the Telugu audience had to keep the popcorn warm.
An official confirmation on the acquisition and telecast date is anticipated from the channel shortly, which should put all speculation to rest.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Jr NTR is fully occupied with the shoot of his much-awaited film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. Adding to the excitement, the makers have also officially announced Devara 2, with Koratala Siva reportedly busy polishing the script. For fans, it seems the Devara wave is far from over.
