Singer Kanika Kapoor has been discharged from the hospital after testing negative for the novel coronavirus for the second time. The famous Bollywood singer was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow. She will be in home-quarantine for the next 14 days.
Kanika tested positive for the novel coronavirus for the first time on March 20. The Baby Doll singer had returned from London and attended lavish parties and stayed in five star hotels. She hid her travel history from the officials and was slammed by many for the same.
Earlier, the singer had shared a health update on Instagram after testing Covid-19 positive. She wrote, “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family miss them!”
