The results of MLC elections of Telangana were out and guess what, three of TRS backed MLC leaders lost the battle shocking the KCR camp. Details of these results as follows.
Post the snap polls, the sweeping victory of TRS boosted the confidence in KCR and he almost behaved like a dictator. With the same confidence, he wanted to win all the Lok Sabha constituencies and used the MLC elections to test the mood of the voters. Expected to win all the three, TRS actually lost in all the three MLC segments. Senior Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy won against the TRS candidate Chandrasekhar Goud with a huge margin of 39000 plus votes. Progressive Recognized Teachers Union (PRTU) member K Raghuram Reddy defeated the TRS backed leader Paturi Sudhakar Reddy in Adilabad-Karimnagar-Medak region. The most hyped TRS candidate P Ravinder lost in the hands of Congress-CPI backed United Teachers Federation MLC aspirant A Narsi Reddy in the elections which were held on 22nd of this month.
With these bitter results, TRS has decided not to take the Lok Sabha elections lite and started brainstorming on the leaders and individual segments. On the flip side, Congress is breathing a sigh of relief and gained the confidence to compete hard for the Parliament seats against TRS.
