Telangana gymnast Nishka Aggarwal and cyclist Aashirwad Saxena grabbed gold medals at the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, this Monday.
In gymnastics, Nishka earned the top spot in the all-round category with a score of 42.95 points. On the cycling front, Aashirwad secured gold in the 1 km time trial, clocking 1.12.652 seconds. He outpaced Vedant Jitendra Jadhav from Maharashtra and Gumoor Poonia from Haryana. Aashirwad has also qualified for the Finals of the 3 km individual pursuit, where he will be competing for a bronze medal on Tuesday.
