Janasena supporters have more reasons to celebrate following their recent election victory. The Election Commission (EC) will permanently assign the “Glass” symbol to the party, thanks to their impressive performance. For a party to secure a permanent symbol, it must garner at least 6% of the votes in both Assembly and Lok Sabha elections and win a minimum of 2 MLA and 1 MP seat. In this election, Janasena surpassed these requirements, winning 21 MLA seats and 2 MP seats, solidifying their claim to the symbol.
The EC is expected to officially confer the permanent glass symbol to Janasena soon. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan, who experienced defeat in two constituencies in the previous election, is now set to enter the Assembly with 21 MLAs. He is likely to be appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister and a key minister, although this has caused some disappointment among Janasena workers and fans. Many supporters had hoped to see Pawan Kalyan as the Chief Minister.
