Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Is July 18 the Final Release Date or Another Delay?
The long-delayed Pawan Kalyan-starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been stuck in a never-ending loop of missed dates and uncertain timelines. Initially helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film has now found a possible release window—July 18th. But fans have heard this before.
A Project That’s Changed Hands and Deadlines
From its announcement, Hari Hara Veera Mallu promised an epic period drama. However, budget constraints and delays plagued the project early on. In a strategic move to salvage it, Jyothi Krishna, son of producer A.M. Ratnam, took over direction duties to help steer the film toward completion.
Even the most loyal fans have grown skeptical. The last postponement—reportedly due to incomplete CGI and VFX work—added to the frustration. While the new date is being circulated widely, there’s still no official confirmation from the makers.
The Story: Telangana’s Robin Hood?
The film is reportedly inspired by Pandha Sayanna, a legendary outlaw often referred to as Telangana’s own Robin Hood. Set during the Mughal era, the plot focuses on Sayanna’s resistance, wealth redistribution, and rebellion—an ideal platform for Pawan Kalyan’s screen persona.
With Nidhi Agarwal as the female lead and grand visuals promised, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is being made in two parts, with Part 1 said to be nearing completion.
Will This Date Stick?
Despite a fresh wave of buzz and cautious optimism, fans are holding back on excitement. The film has earned a reputation as a “ghost premiere”—always rumored, never real.
If July 18 truly marks the day Hari Hara Veera Mallu hits theaters, it’ll be a much-needed win for both the makers and Pawan Kalyan’s cinematic journey amid his new political responsibilities.
