Harish Rao Predicts Revanth Reddy’s Imprisonment in Note-for-Vote Case:
The BRS party intensified the pressure on Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy on Thursday, as Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao asserted that Revanth Reddy’s imprisonment in the note-for-vote case was now just a matter of time.
Speaking at a public gathering in Kodangal, where he inaugurated a 50-bed government hospital in Kosgi, Harish Rao pointed out that the Supreme Court had rejected Revanth Reddy’s plea related to the case and emphasized the need for the investigation to proceed.
Harish confidently stated, “The investigation will progress, and it is inevitable that Revanth will be incarcerated.”
Revanth Reddy had previously represented the Kodangal constituency as a TDP member, winning twice in 2009 and 2014 on the party’s ticket. However, he experienced defeat in 2018 after switching to the Congress and running on their ticket. In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, he secured victory as a Congress candidate in the Malkajgiri constituency. It is anticipated that he will contest the upcoming Assembly elections from Kodangal.
