In Haryana, patients suffering from coronavirus have shown good recovery in the last week, an official said on Sunday.
A total of 1,523 patients have recovered whereas 2,797 new patients were admitted in health facilities or home isolated in the same period. A special focus is placed on timely tracing of COVID positive cases and treatment thereof, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Rajeev Arora said.
He said the state has also taken the initiative to start calling patients on phone who are in home isolation to take feedback from them on various issues like availability of regular health services to them.
By calling them not only is feedback taken but their issues are also being resolved.
Further, psychological counseling is being provided by the calling agents to lower their stress and anxiety related to COVID, which is the need to tackle the pandemic.
