Hyderabad Court gave a nod to Election Commission on Wednesday to Public Voters List in Telangana On October 12th. The Court also stated that if anyone has Objection on Publishing electoral list could be raised later. The Hyderabad Court Order came into limelight after the hearing of Public interest litigation on the Voter Publish Issue.
On other Hand, Congress leader Marri Sridhar Reddy also filed petition on electoral polls but it was postponed on hearing to tomorrow(12 October 2018). The Election Commissioner Officials expressed that the discretionary move to be distributed on October 12 is just an electoral list which will be consistently refreshed as and The last date of filing of nomination when a voter list any case or complaint which can be recorded till 3 pm on November 19.
In the interim, Chief Electoral Officer Rajath stated that the Election commission received nearly 34 Lakhs representations on the draft electoral list which 22.36 applications were for issuing new voter character cards. As on Wednesday, the EC cleared around 30 lakh applications. The current discretionary rolls include around 2.61 crore voters and another 20 lakh voters are required to get registered in the list.
