With Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi battle in the forefront of 2019 AP Assembly elections, yet another, film celebrity is making their political presence feel strong. The filmy couple, hero Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, who were equally famous for their anti-Chiru statements in the past, are eyeing a berth in the TDP. If rumors are to be true, soon we might see Hero Rajasekhar and Jeevitha into TDP.
Before the 2009 elections, Rajasekhar and Jeevitha were politically very active. The couple stood united irrespective of the field. Be it politics, or film, Rajasekhar, and Jeevitha are together. During the 2009 elections, campaigning for Congress at that time, the couple were successful in attacking Chiranjeevi and his Prajarajyam Party (PRP). But the sudden demise of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and the merging of PRP into Congress meant, the couple had lost their presence in Congress.
Later, Rajasekhar and Jeevitha were in touch with YSRCP, before they backed off in 2012. In fact, the couple did meet Chandrababu Naidu during that time, only to be disappointed. With political equations changing at a brisk pace, the couple’s name is once again on the political cards. Close sources confirmed that a TDP minister from a Rayalaseema district, mediated between Chandrababu and couple.Once Chandrababu and Team return from their Davos trip, Hero Rajasekhar and Jeevitha into TDP will just be a matter of formality.
