high Court Disposes of Lokesh’s Bail Plea in AP Fibernet Case:

The petition for anticipatory bail in the AP Fibernet case, filed by N. Lokesh, the TD national general secretary, has been disposed of by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The matter was heard by a single-judge bench presided over by Justice K. Suresh Reddy on Tuesday.

S. Sriram, the Advocate-General representing the AP-CID, informed the court that Lokesh was not named as an accused in the case, raising the question of his eligibility for anticipatory bail. He further explained that if Lokesh were to be implicated in the case, he would receive a notice under Section 41-A (3) and (4) of the CrPC, and emphasized their adherence to established procedures.
