The caretaker CM of Telangana KCR received a huge jolt from the High Court of Hyderabad in the name of its latest verdict. It summoned the TRS Government to hold the Panchayat elections within three months from now. It is a known thing that the clever KCR postponed the elections of Panchayats and Sarpanches after the snap polls as it would show any effect on the Assembly elections. The term of Sarpanches in Telangana has ended in August of this year across the State and the local leaders are demanding the State Government to conduct the elections.
As the ruling party kept its calm over this issue, almost 500 Sarpanches approached the High Court. After hearing their plea, the Judiciary bench declared its verdict directing the TRS Government to conduct the Panchayat polls within three months from now. With nothing to do, KCR has asked his Government officials to look into the issue and start the work immediately.Three months is not a bad thing for KCR as the snap polls would be done and dusted along with the results by then. In any case, KCR would be benefited as the things are going according to his plan.
