Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan stole hearts at the pre-release event of War 2 in Hyderabad on Sunday evening, as he showered admiration on his co-star NTR. Playing a spy in Ayan Mukerji’s high-octane action thriller, Hrithik began his speech with a warm Telugu greeting: “Andariki Namaskaram. Hyderabad, ela unnaru?” instantly winning cheers from thousands of fans.
Thanking the Young Tiger’s fans for the grand welcome, Hrithik said, “I want to hear the roar of the Tiger fans,” sending the crowd into a frenzy. He then shared a heartfelt line in Telugu: “Tarak meeku Anna, naku Thammudu” (Tarak is your elder brother, but he’s my younger brother).“Tarak and I started as co-stars, and we ended up like brothers in real life. Promise me you’ll love my brother forever because he deserves it,” Hrithik said, giving NTR an affectionate hug.
Reflecting on their bond, Hrithik added, “I see a lot of myself in Tarak, and I think Tarak sees a bit of himself in me too. We’ve had similar journeys — 25 years now.”
Praising NTR’s acting, Hrithik called him a “one-take, final-take star.” He said, “I’ve learned how to give 100% to a shot by observing you. I’ll carry that lesson into all my future films. Thank you, Tarak.”
