Huawei Developer Conference will prove to be a landmark as far as Huawei is concerned as the latter is trying to establish itself again in the market.
Chinese tech giant Huawei is out to organize the Huawei Developer Conference 2019 (HDC 2019) in Dongguan, China. It is scheduled between 9 and 11 August that will focus on various products and services of the company that includes key technology areas such as 5G and the Internet of Things.
The entire conference will be divided into three parts that include the keynote speech, a technical forum, and Codelabs. The keynote will give importance to recent developments in Huawei and possibly its roadmap for the future. In the technical forum, several topics involving smart home, sports health, smart travel, EMUI, AR and VR, and Huawei Pay will be raised as part of the discussion. Codelabs will indeed offer attendees a hands-on experience into Huawei services as well as products in order to gain feedback from the developer community and also from experts attending the conference from all over the world.
Google was instructed by the US Commerce Department to cut off ties with the Chinese company and as result of which Huawei started working started using its own mobile operating system based on AOSP. This proprietary mobile OS has been called Hongxing OS (and ARK OS) that will be made use of in future Huawei devices thus replacing Android. There has not been any official reveal yet and it has been rumored to be faster than Android.
The keynote at HDC 2019 will turn out to be the best platform for the company to showcase its new OS. However, since the trade ban has been lifted by the US, it is doubtful whether the Chinese company is going to pursue developing the project. Details will be known in the keynote.
