A class X student commits suicide due to harassment in Saroor Nagar, Hyderabad. He is recovering in a hospital now the condition is stable.
According to the Saroornagar police, the 14-year-old was a student of Neo Royal High School at Kar-Manghat and resident of Green Park Colony.
Fellow students have been bullying Ravikiran for some time.
Ravi Kiran’s fellow students have threatened him and demanded Rs 10,000.
Ravi Kiran took Rs. 6,000 from home without parents’ knowledge and put it in their hands. But they were demanding another Rs 1,000.
On July 3, Ravi returned home from school and looking very upset.
He went inside a room bolted the door attempted to hang from the ceiling.
Ravi parents broke the door and took him to the hospital with the help of neighbours.
A case has been registered under the prohibition of Ragging Act.
