The Kukatpally has registered a case against TSRTC convenor Ashwathama Reddy considering him as wholly responsible for the suicides of RTC employees. An RTC driver Raju lodged a complaint with the police stating that Reddy is misleading the RTC employees with the organization merger with the government. He also said that Ashwathama is responsible for the suicides of the RTC employees.

Meanwhile, Ashwathama Reddy called on JAC leaders at TMU office at RTC crossroads and later spoke to media. He said that an RTC driver slipped into depression and died of a heart attack after the chief minister announced his decision on the ongoing TSRTC strike. Reddy asked the chief minister to go through the labor act and further asked to run the private buses in villages. “The strike will be continued and memorandums will be submitted on October 28 to all the district collectors,” said Reddy asking the government to conduct a survey on the assets of TSRTC by a private firm.
