The state High Court on Friday directed a local court in Kukatpally to grant bail to former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash.
The state High Court on Friday directed a local court in Kukatpally to grant bail to former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash. However, Ravi Prakash was also ordered to submit a personal bond and two sureties worth Rs 15,000. It also dismissed the petition filed by the Banjara Hills police seeking custody of Ravi Prakash in a fresh case registered against him. The Kukatpally court has remanded him to judicial custody till October 30.
Earlier in the week, the court stayed all the proceedings in the cases registered against him at Banjara Hills police station on the charges of creating a fake email ID and asked the police to file a counter affidavit in the case. The Nampally court also granted him bail in cheating case dismissing the petition filed by police seeking his custody.
